Abstract: This invention introduces a smart and affordable crowd management system designed to improve safety in public areas. Instead of installing new and costly devices, it makes use of the CCTV cameras that are already installed in places such as railway stations, bus stops, shopping malls, religious gatherings, and sports events. The system uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) and sensors to automatically detect and count people in real time. It can estimate how crowded an area is by analyzing video feeds or body heat detection. When the system notices that a place has become overcrowded or if the movement of the crowd seems unusual or dangerous, it immediately sends warnings through SMS, email, or system notifications to the concerned authorities. At the same time, it can display heat maps and live visuals showing the most crowded zones. By providing early alerts and real-time monitoring, this system not only reduces the chances of accidents like stampedes and chaos but also helps security teams make faster and smarter decisions. It is a low-cost, scalable, and reliable solution that supports the development of safe and smart cities.
