The apparatus comprises, in particular, a collector with at least one collector window over which a respective opened pocket of the elongated medicament carrier is moved and one conduit extending along a longitudinal axis through the collector from at least one entry section, which comprises the at least one collector window, toward the opening of a mouthpiece of the apparatus.
