Abstract: ABSTRACT Wax manipulation is a common clinical procedure in dentistry, particularly during temporary restorations, bite registrations, and tray modifications. Conventional wax knives and wax spatulas are used separately and lack any mechanism for retaining molten wax. This lesulls in ______repeated-r_eheatingr.frequent .instrument, changes, loss of wax temperature, prolonged chairside ___ ___ time, and reduced precision during intraoral procedures. The present invention provides a dual-ended clinical wax knife and wax spatula instrument with integrated wax reservoirs and an ergonomic handle. One end of the instrument comprises a wax spatula designed for melting and carrying dental wax, while the opposite end consists of a wax knife used for carving and shaping wax intraorally. Both ends are provided with concave wax reservoirs that temporarily retain softened wax, allowing controlled and continuous application. A stainless steel handle ensures durability and sterilizability, while a rubber grip sleeve provides thermal insulation and enhanced handling comfort. The angulated working ends improve access and visibility within the oral cavity. This innovative design reduces procedural interruptions, improves efficiency, and enhances precision during clinical wax manipulation, offering a practical advancement over conventional instruments.
