Abstract: ABSTRACT DUAL-ZIP REHABILITATION TROUSER A smart dual-zip rehabilitation trouser for patients undergoing lower limb external fixation and orthopaedic physiotherapy rehabilitation is disclosed. The trouser comprises a soft, stretchable, breathable trouser body (B) with an adjustable elastic and drawstring waistband assembly (A), and bilateral full-length side zipper assemblies (C) extending independently along both lateral seams from waistband to ankle. Each zipper assembly (C) is independently operable via dual-pull sliders, enabling complete, partial, or selective opening of either or both lateral seams to accommodate external fixator hardware without passing the fixator through the trouser leg, to facilitate wound inspection and pin-site care, and to permit targeted limb exposure for physiotherapy interventions without garment removal. Protective Velcro-assisted flaps (D) cover each zipper assembly to prevent hardware snagging and protect pin sites. Modular opening zones (F) enable targeted exposure of anatomically defined limb segments. The trouser maintains patient dignity, is adjustable, reusable, and launderable. FIG. 1
