Abstract: DUST-REPELLENT ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE-DISSIPATING COATING COMPOSITION A dust-repellent electrostatic charge-dissipating coating composition is disclosed for reducing particulate adhesion on coated surfaces. The composition comprises a polymeric binder matrix present in an amount ranging from 35% to 75% by weight; one or more electrically conductive polymer additives for electrostatic charge dissipation present in an amount ranging from 0.5% to 8% by weight; one or more low surface-energy modifying agents present in an amount ranging from 0.1% to 3% by weight; and one or more inorganic fillers present in an amount ranging from 5% to 25% by weight. The conductive polymer additives form an interconnected conductive phase within the cured coating film enabling effective dissipation of accumulated electrostatic charge, while the low surface-energy modifying agents migrate toward the outer surface region during curing to form a surface layer that reduces particulate adhesion.
