Abstract: EARLY UPLINK SYNCHRONIZATION Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose devices, methods and apparatuses for the early uplink (UL) synchronization. In the embodiments, a terminal device receives, from a source cell, a message triggering an uplink (UL) synchronization. The terminal device determines whether the message is related to a first cell associated with a first timing advance group (TAG) and a second cell associated with a second TAG. Then, the terminal device obtains, based on determining that the message is related to the first cell and the second cell, a set of parameters for the UL synchronization with the first cell and the second cell from the message.
