The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.

Abstract: The invention reveals an environmentally friendly composite sheets made from water hyacinth fiber, wood sawdust, and foam sheets powder that has been combined using epoxy resin matrix (10:1 ratio of epoxy resin and hardener) by means of compression molding process. Four different compositions of the sheets, namely W30F20, W30, W20, and W10 have been analyzed with respect to their compressive strength, tensile strength, flexural strength, impact strength, density, porosity, water absorption, and thickness expansion. Optimum values of these properties include compressive strength of 45.58 N/mm2 and flexural strength of 46.78 N/mm2 for composition W30F20 and tensile strength of 15.69 N/mm2 and impact strength of 1.2 J for composition W20.
