Abstract: The present invention provides a climate migration economic impact assessment and adaptive resource planning system for evaluating economic effects associated with climate-induced population movement in developing regions. The system acquires climate, environmental, demographic, migration, economic, employment, agricultural, infrastructure, and public-service data and processes the data into spatially and temporally aligned analytical datasets. A migration impact analysis module determines migration pressure across origin and destination regions, while an economic impact modelling module estimates effects relating to labor, income, agriculture, employment, housing, infrastructure, and public services. A predictive scenario module generates alternative migration and economic-impact scenarios using historical observations and climate projections. A resource planning module generates region-specific adaptive planning recommendations, and a monitoring and feedback module compares predicted and observed conditions to recalibrate subsequent assessments and recommendations.
