Abstract: An Electronic Control Unit (ECU) driven by Edge Artificial Intelligence for an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) intended for Indian two-wheeled motor vehicles is revealed. In order to continuously predict a lock-up risk (lock_risk in [0,1]), the invention incorporates a 25-parameter feed-forward neural network perceptron (4 inputs - 4 ReLU hidden neurons - 1 sigmoid output). This perceptron accepts wheel slip ratio, normalized deceleration, brake lever position, and tyre-road friction coefficient. This allows for predictive pre-threshold brake pressure modulation before wheel slip reaches the classical lockup value of 0.18. Original conservative (pwmScale=max(0.30, 1-0.70*risk), ABS trigger risk 0.35) and Optimized A+B (pwmScale=max(0.55, 1-0.45*risk), ABS trigger risk 0.50) are the two runtime- selectable modes that can be chosen with a single serial command bit without requiring hardware modification. Within a single unified firmware source, the invention is validated across seven microcontroller platforms, ranging from 8-bit AVR ATmega328P at 16 MHz (execution 0.30ms) to 32-bit ARM Cortex-M7 NXP S32K312 ASIL-B at 120 MHz ( 0.04ms). Every 80 ms control tick, real-time lock_risk reporting and ABS status can be sent to an external diagnostic device using a 6-byte binary serial telemetry protocol. The Central Motor Vehicles Rules 1989 revision, which mandates ABS fitting for all Indian two-wheelers starting in January 2026, is immediately addressed by the system, which offers the Indian two-wheeler market an affordable, platform-neutral, intelligent brake control solution
