MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641080547 A) filed by Narsimha Reddy Engineering College Nrcm on June 30, 2026, for Edge-Based Smart Log Collector With Real-Time Anomaly Indicator.
Inventors include Mr. D. V. Varaprasad; Gadamalla Harish; Jadhav Avinash; N Lavanya; G Praveen Kumar; and Ramgiri Manoj Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: An edge-based smart log collection system (100) configured for deterministic real-time anomaly indication is disclosed. The system includes a log ingestion interface (110), structured parsing engine (120), rule configuration module (130), state modeling engine (140), anomaly evaluation engine (150), real-time anomaly indicator (160), and selective transmission controller (170). The system performs localized parsing, deterministic rule evaluation, and state transition validation at an edge node. Upon detecting a rule violation or state deviation, an anomaly flag is generated in real-time and selectively transmitted to a central monitoring server (180). The invention reduces bandwidth consumption, improves latency, enhances privacy, and enables deterministic anomaly detection in distributed edge computing environments.
