The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.

Abstract: Among the most urgent health-related issues that individuals face nowadays, there is the mental stress problem that negatively influences the mind and the body manifesting itself in clear ways. The timely and correct identification of stress is especially significant to the medical practice because the anxiety that is caused by the patients may disrupt the diagnosis and treatment. The EEG-Based Stress Detection System attempts to eliminate this problem. It captures brainwave information with the help of an EEG headset, cleanses the data, isolates salient features, and matches the information with trained machine-learning models to identify the occurrence of stress in real time. The findings are presented on a basic telemedicine interface, with the help of which a physician can assess the mental state of the patient in the shortest possible time and correctly. An integrated chatbot also helps users by providing interpretation of findings, directing them through mental-health processes, and providing communication between doctors and patients thus making the process more accessible and efficient. The invention is inspired by the growing load on mental- health conditions that have been witnessed in geographically far-flung and resource-stricken areas where health-care centres are usually short of psychological tools and expert professionals. The system provides cost-effective, scientifically based, and easily available methodology of early stress detection and aiding clinical decision- making. Finally, it provides a real-time solution, which combines EEG signal processing, intelligent algorithms, and telehealth into a single system. It is the innovation to connect mental and physical health care with objective assessment of the stress levels to improve the knowledge of the physicians and increase the trust of patients in the given treatment.
