Abstract: The present invention proposes an intelligent framework for cervical cancer detection using medical images by integrating image preprocessing, segmentation, feature extraction, classification, and optimization techniques. Cervical images are first pre-processed using an Improved Median Filter to remove noise. The tumour region is segmented using Modified Fuzzy C-Means clustering combined with Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix analysis. Relevant features are extracted and classified using a Radial Basis Function Neural Network. A hybrid Particle Swarm Optimization and Fruit Fly Optimization algorithm is employed to optimize the classification process. The proposed system improves diagnostic accuracy and provides an efficient automated solution for early cervical cancer detection.
