Abstract: The present invention relates to an electric compressor comprising: a compressor including a housing in which a suction chamber, a back pressure chamber, a compression chamber and a discharge chamber are formed, a driving part that includes a stator with an inner peripheral surface that faces the outer peripheral surface of a rotary shaft rotatably supported in the housing and a rotor that is coupled to the outer peripheral surface of the rotary shaft so as to rotate together with the rotary shaft by means of induced electromotive force with the stator, a fixed scroll integrated and fixed in the housing, an orbiting scroll that engages with the fixed scroll so as to form the compression chamber while orbiting by means of the driving part, and a control part in which a driving circuit and an element for operating the driving part are arrayed on a PCB integrated into one side of the housing; and a pressure-tight unit which is provided in the compression chamber so as to maintain constant pressure of the back pressure chamber within a set range according to the motion of the orbiting scroll when the orbiting scroll is operated and, simultaneously, which maintains airtightness of the back pressure chamber, wherein shape deformation and restoration are facilitated during assembly, and back pressure is maintained and a load applied to a thrust surface is reduced such that the performance of the compressor can be improved.
