Abstract: ABSTRACT “ELECTRIFIED HYDROGEN SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR OPERATING THEREOF” Present subject matter relates to adaptive power regulation in electrolyzer systems. The system comprises a power conversion system including a power converter, a step-down converter, and a power regulating unit. Step-down converter receives an input power signal. Step-down converter includes multiple converter cells, each having a switching element and an associated inductor. The power regulating unit dynamically selects converter cells based on operating parameters including power demand and duty ratio. Then, operation states of switching elements are determined using predictive control techniques, duty ratios are generated for active converter cells, and switching pulses are produced for regulating power supplied to the electrolyzer system. The power conversion system may include a power converter with 24-pulse rectifier and the step-down converter with reconfigurable interleaved buck-converter (re-IBC), along with a control framework to achieve adaptive converter-cell selection, improved conversion efficiency and current sharing, reduced output current ripple, and improved grid power quality.
