Abstract: ELECTROCOAGULATION CELL CONFIGURATIONS AND ANALYSIS FOR ENHANCED WASTEWATER TREATMENT ABSTRACT The present disclosure relates to electrocoagulation cell configurations and analysis for enhanced wastewater treatment. The invention describes an electrocoagulation cell featuring a first electrode configured as an inner solid cylindrical rod or a porous plastic cage packed with metal shavings and a second electrode comprising a hollow metal pipe. The structures facilitate electrochemical reactions by applying voltage or current across them to efficiently remove contaminants from wastewater. The configuration also includes a plurality of cylindrical coaxial electrocoagulation cells arranged in an array to allow parallel wastewater flow and optimized electrical power distribution. Additionally, a monitoring system detects electrode performance by analyzing voltage drops and current through the cells, providing insight into the need for maintenance and improving operational longevity.
