Abstract: The present invention effectively reduces the overall electrical resistance of an electrode composite. This electrode composite for a power storage cell comprises: a first electrode that has a first current collector, and a first active material layer formed on a surface of the first current collector and including a first active material for a positive electrode or a negative electrode; and a second electrode that has a second current collector, and a second active material layer formed on a surface of the second current collector and including a second active material that has the opposite polarity from the first active material and has a lower electrical resistance value than the first active material. A plurality of through holes are formed in at least the first electrode among the first electrode and the second electrode, said through holes penetrating through the first active material layer. A first total opening area that results from summing the opening areas of all of the through holes formed in the surface of the first active material layer is greater than a second total opening area that results from summing the opening areas of all of the through holes formed in the surface of the second active material layer.
