Abstract: ELECTROLYTE REMOVAL APPARATUS HAVING INNOVATIVE JIG DESIGN FOR EFFICIENTLY ELIMINATING EXCESS ELECTROLYTES POST- CHARGING IN BATTERIES The present invention relates to an electrolyte removal apparatus (100) for a battery (106). The electrolyte removal apparatus (100) comprises a pump (108), a jig assembly (104), and manifold (102) for coupling said pump with said jig assembly (104). The jig assembly (104) is operably coupled with said pump (108). The jig assembly (104) comprises plurality of jig arms (112), and plurality of hoses (114) formed at the distal ends of each of said plurality of jig arms (112). The plurality of jig arms (112) extend from the base of said jig assembly (104) in a spaced apart manner. The plurality of hoses (114) are adapted to be inserted within said battery (106). The plurality of hoses (114) comprise plurality of inclined nozzles (116) matching with the internal structure of said battery (106) to avoid obstructions during insertion and removal of said jig assembly (104).
