Abstract: An electromagnetically actuated shape-adaptive cooking platform is disclosed. The platform comprises a plurality of independently controllable electromagnetic actuator modules configured to dynamically alter a support surface according to cookware geometry. A cookware detection subsystem determines container characteristics, while a material recognition subsystem identifies heat-compatible and heat-sensitive regions using parameters including magnetic permeability, electrical impedance, and thermal response. Localized heating elements selectively apply heat only to identified heat-compatible regions. A thermal monitoring network continuously generates temperature maps and detects overheating conditions. Upon detection of thermal runaway, smoke, abnormal heating, or predefined cooking thresholds, the platform automatically performs corrective actions including heating deactivation, support reconfiguration, cookware lifting, tilting, or thermal disengagement. An artificial intelligence module optimizes cooking operations using real-time thermal data. The invention provides enhanced safety, energy efficiency, adaptive cookware support, and intelligent cooking control suitable for domestic, commercial, and industrial cooking environments.
