MUMBAI, India, June 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617063779 A) filed by Lanxess Deutschland Gmbh on May 20, 2026, for Electromobility Components.

Inventors include May, Lars; Jentsch, Joerg-Dietrich; and Kischkewitz, Marvin.

The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to: electromobility components having a colour difference ?E 20 between the L*a*b* coordinates and a colour number beginning with "2" of the RAL colour chart, containing polymer compositions on the basis of at least one polyester and a pigment having an average particle size d50, determined according to ISO 13320 by means of laser diffractometry, in the range of 1 to 12 µm, containing 9,9'-oxybis-12H-phthaloperin-12-one, 9,10-oxybis-12H-phthaloperin- 12-one and 10,10'-oxybis-12H-phthaloperin-12-one in a ratio of 1:1:0.8-1.5 to 1:1.5:0.8-1.5. The invention also relates to the use of a pigment having an average particle size d50, determined according to ISO 13320, in the range of 1 to 12 µm, containing 9,9'-oxybis-12H-phthaloperin-12-one, 9,10-oxybis-12H-phthaloperin-12- one and 10,10'-oxybis-12H-phthaloperin-12-one in a ratio of 1:1:0.8-1.5 to 1:1.5:0.8-1.5 in polymer compositions for producing polyester-based electromobility components having a colour difference ?E 20 between the L*a*b* coordinates and a colour number beginning with "2" of the RAL colour chart, in particular for reducing cross-colour effect in the production of polyester-based electromobility components.
