Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for wireless LAN communication in an electronic apparatus. The electronic apparatus comprises: a communication circuit; a processor; and a memory. The memory may store instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the electronic apparatus to: identify channels of a first group for scanning a heterogeneous wireless LAN protocol and channels of a second group for scanning a first external electronic apparatus; on the basis of a time interval for scanning the heterogeneous wireless LAN protocol for the channels of the first group, perform second scheduling for NAN-based data communication with the first external electronic apparatus; perform a scan related to the channels of the first group; and perform, on the basis of the second scheduling, NAN-based data communication with the first external electronic apparatus. Other embodiments may also be possible.
