Abstract: In embodiments, an electronic device is provided. The electronic device may comprise: at least one display; at least one processor including a processing circuit; and a memory storing instructions and including one or more storage media. The instructions, when executed individually or collectively by the at least one processor, may instruct the electronic device to: obtain depth information about an area in which an application is to be rendered in a three-dimensional space in response to execution of the application configured to provide a two-dimensional image; determine resolution information for the application according to the depth information about the area; convert image information corresponding to the two-dimensional image of the application generated according to the resolution information into dual image information corresponding to images for both eyes; and display a rendered image on the at least one display on the basis of the dual image information.
