Abstract: According to one embodiment, a method performed by a device of a base station may comprise an operation of determining a first frequency domain for reference signals in an extended frequency domain of frequency domain spectrum shaping (FDSS) on the basis of communication quality for a channel between the base station and a terminal. The method may comprise the operations of: transmitting, to the terminal, resource allocation information about a second frequency domain for data signals in the extended frequency domain; receiving, through the extended frequency domain, uplink signals that are configured on the basis of the FDSS and include the reference signals and data signals; performing channel estimation for the second frequency domain through the reference signal received through the first frequency domain; and acquiring the data signals on the basis of the results of the channel estimation for the second frequency domain.
