Abstract: According to an embodiment, the wearable electronic device may comprise a housing including a first housing and a second housing extending from the first housing. At least a part of the second housing may be flexible. The wearable electronic device may comprise a display disposed on the housing, at least one processor, and a memory for storing instructions. The instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the wearable electronic device to display a screen in a portrait orientation, among first and second areas of the display, in the first area without displaying the screen in the second area extending from the first area, display a screen in the portrait orientation in the first and second areas of the display, display a screen in a landscape orientation in the first area of the display without displaying a screen in the second area of the display, or display a screen in the landscape orientation in the first and second areas of the display. At least a part the first area of the display may correspond to the first housing. At least a part of the second area of the display may correspond to the second housing. Various other embodiments are also possible.
