Abstract: This electronic device includes: a battery; a coil; a wireless charging circuit configured to rectify power received from a power supply device through the coil and provide the rectified power to charge the battery; and a processor configured to output a signal related to a charging mode of the wireless charging circuit. The wireless charging circuit performs configuration operations of a first charging mode for receiving first power from the power supply device. The wireless charging circuit operates in the first charging mode for receiving the first power when the configuration operations of the first charging mode are completed. The wireless charging circuit initiates wireless charging when the configuration operations of the first charging mode fails, performs configuration operations of a second charging mode for receiving second power lower than the first power from the power supply device on the basis of a signal received from the processor, and operates in the second charging mode for receiving the second power.
