The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an embedded vehicular accident detection and emergency alert system comprising an ESP32 microcontroller, an MPU6050 motion sensor, a Global Positioning System (GPS) module, a Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) module, a display unit, an audible alert unit, and control buttons. The microcontroller processes motion data by evaluating predetermined threshold conditions associated with acceleration and vehicle orientation to identify a potential vehicular accident. Upon detection, the system initiates an alert-confirmation sequence comprising audible and visual indications and permits cancellation of the alert within a predefined time interval. If the alert is not cancelled within the interval, the system initiates an emergency telephone call and transmits a short message service (SMS) notification containing available geographical location information through the GSM module. The system provides an embedded mechanism for accident detection and emergency notification without requiring the vehicle occupant to manually initiate the alert.
