Short stories encompass major functions like giving instructions, teaching moral lessons, entertaining the audience, and disseminating social and cultural values, etc. ‘Narration’ is the soul of ‘story-telling’. In the recent decades, television shows, cartoons, the internet, YouTube, multimedia, OTT platforms, etc., have distracted students’ interest in studying short stories. The use of AI powered platforms like StoryBee and Storywizard can develop students’ interest in studying short stories. Both these platforms keep children engaged in learning short stories.
