Abstract: Mesh encoding and decoding. In an example embodiment of a mesh decoder, a geometry of a triangular mesh is decoded, the triangular mesh comprising a plurality of corners. For at least one current corner of the triangular mesh, a prediction of a UV coordinate is determined associated with the current corner based on a set of respective UV coordinates associated with at least one corner opposite the current corner. For at least one of the opposite corners, a determination is made of whether to use the at least one opposite corner for the prediction is made based at least in part on whether the opposite corner is beyond a UV seam from the current corner.
