MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617080146 A) filed by Archaea Energy Inc. on June 29, 2026, for Enrichment Of Carbon Dioxide In Gas Streams By Pressure Swing Adsorption.
Inventor includes Mitariten, Michael.
The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.
Abstract: Systems and methods (e.g., methods using the systems) for enriching carbon dioxide in a source gas. Systems can comprise pressure swing adsorption (PSA) units comprising adsorbent beds configured to adsorb carbon dioxide from a source gas comprising carbon dioxide; vacuum pumps configured to desorb carbon dioxide from the adsorbent bed and remove a carbon dioxide-rich stream; and diverters configured to divert percentages of the carbon dioxide-rich streams back to the PSA units, which can expel nitrogen from void spaces of the adsorbent beds.
