MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641096987 A) filed by Qunu Labs Private Limited on August 11, 2026, for Entropy-Driven Adaptive Power Management System For Field Programmable Gate Arrays And A Method Thereof.

Inventors include Muniraju Narayanappa; Krishnan Rajeshkumar; and Dilip Kumar Singh.

The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.

Abstract: Disclosed are method and entropy-driven adaptive power management system (102) for a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) (104). The system comprises entropy generation module (106) to continuously generate plurality of non-deterministic entropy streams and activity monitoring module (108) to monitor operational activity of plurality of logic blocks (110) and generate activity data. The activity monitoring module classifies plurality of logic blocks into critical and non-critical categories. A power management controller (112) receives activity data and plurality of non-deterministic entropy streams, deterministically identifies non-critical logic blocks as candidate logic blocks, and probabilistically selects one or more logic blocks using at least one entropy stream. The power management controller determines adaptive power state transitions for selected logic blocks based on classification and entropy. A power domain control unit (114) dynamically controls power delivery by adjusting supply voltage, body bias, clock gating, and power gating, thereby enabling adaptive and secure power optimization.
