Abstract: This invention presents the design and development of an ergonomically engineered maternity support belt that integrates digital health monitoring and therapeutic sound technology to improve comfort and well-being for pregnant women. The device provides posture correction, abdominal support, and continuous monitoring of vital parameters such as heart rate and temperature using embedded biosensors. These readings are processed through a microcontroller unit and displayed on a compact LED module, allowing real-time tracking without the need for separate medical devices. In addition to health monitoring, the belt features a calming humming sound module designed to reduce stress and promote emotional relaxation during pregnancy. The system is built using soft, breathable materials and adjustable straps that ensure a comfortable fit throughout different stages of pregnancy. The microcontroller manages sensor functions, display operations, and sound output while maintaining safe and efficient performance. The invention addresses the limitations of traditional maternity belts, which offer only mechanical support and lack physiological monitoring or stress-relief mechanisms. Early evaluations show enhanced comfort, improved safety, and better emotional balance for users. This product demonstrates the potential to modernize maternity support solutions by combining ergonomic design, digital wellness monitoring, and therapeutic sound technology for use at home, in hospitals, and in maternal care centers.
