Abstract: Experimental investigation on concrete incorporating ceramic waste powder and polypropylene fibers Abstract: The present invention relates to a sustainable concrete solid block incorporating ceramic waste powder and polypropylene fibres for improved strength and crack resistance. Ceramic waste obtained from discarded tiles and sanitary ware is cleaned, dried, crushed and sieved below 75 µm, and used to replace 30% by weight of cement. Polypropylene fibres are incorporated into the concrete matrix, while a PCE superplasticizer enables a low water-to-cement ratio of 0.39. The resulting M30-grade concrete block reduces cement consumption and ceramic waste while providing enhanced mechanical performance, durability and environmental sustainability for construction applications.
