Abstract: TITLE: FABRICATION OF FLEXIBLE ZnO TETRAPOD–POLYVINYL BUTYRAL COMPOSITE SHEET FOR REUSABLE PHOTOCATALYTIC AND ENERGY APPLICATIONS A flexible zinc oxide tetrapod–polyvinyl butyral (ZnO-T/PVB) composite sheet and a method for its fabrication. The method involves dispersing 1 g of PVB resin and 1 g of ZnO tetrapods in 10 ml of ethanol, stirring to form a homogeneous slurry, casting onto a substrate, and drying at ambient temperature to obtain a flexible sheet as shown in figure-1. The ZnO-T/PVB sheet preserves the tetrapodal morphology, minimizes catalyst loss, and allows repeated use in photocatalytic applications without additional heat or complex processing. The sheet exhibits robustness in water solvent environments, ease of cleaning, and stability over multiple photocatalytic cycles, as demonstrated in the degradation of commercial dyes including Methyl Orange, Methylene Blue, and Rhodamine B. The composite sheet’s flexibility, structural intetg-rricityh , defec tetrapods, and environmentally benign materials make it suitable for energy devices, biosensors, photocatalytic pollutant degradation, and potential industrial-scale applications, offering a cost-effective and scalable approach for continuous catalytic processes.
