Abstract: The invention relates to a method for enhancing the propagation of pomegranate cuttings by using a combination of sucrose and indole-3-butyric acid (IBA). The cuttings are treated with a solution containing sucrose (1%-3%) and IBA (500 ppm to 1500 ppm), which promotes faster sprouting, increased rooting success, and improved shoot and root growth. This treatment results in higher sprouting percentages, thicker stems, more branches, and enhanced leaf characteristics, such as increased chlorophyll content and larger leaf surface area. The method optimizes energy supply and root formation, significantly improving plant vitality and overall establishment. This innovative approach offers an efficient and reliable solution for commercial and home pomegranate propagation, leading to better yields and healthier plants.
