Abstract: ABSTRACT FILTER FOR FILTERING COOLANT IN A COOLING SYSTEM The present disclosure relates to a filter (202) for filtering coolant in a cooling system is disclosed. The filter (202) includes a first end (208) and a second end (210). Further, the first end (208) includes an opening (302). that is configurable to overlap an aperture (204) of a reservoir (102) of the cooling system. Further, the opening (302) has a first radius and the second end (210) has a second radius. A straining area (212) extends between the first end (208) and the second end (210). Further, the first end (208) is separated from the second end (210) by a pre-defined distance. The reservoir (102) receives coolant via inlet (108) coupled to the aperture (204) and the opening (302). The coolant flows into the reservoir (102) via the filter (202). The straining area (212) removes particulate matter from the coolant flowing into the reservoir (102) via the filter (202). [
