A scheduling module automates the activation and deactivation of cloud resources according to predefined schedules, while an auto-scaling module dynamically adjusts resource allocation in response to changing workload demands. A simulation engine evaluates proposed optimization actions prior to execution to assess their impact on performance and cost.
