Abstract: ABSTRACT METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING FLASH RCS MESSAGES AND GENERATING HASH BASED CO-RELATOR VALUE 10 The present disclosure relates to a multi-device system. Particularly to a method and system for controlling flash RCS messages and generating hash-based co-relator value. The method recites receiving an RCS message comprising a content-disposition value indicative of a type of message. Further, the method describes determining whether the RCS message corresponds to a flash-type RCS message based on the content-disposition value. Based on the 15 determination indicating if the RCS message corresponds to a flash-type RCS message, the method recites controlling the display of the RCS message upon receipt of the RCS message. Further, a method for generating a hash-based correlator header value for a message in a multidevice communication system. The method indicates determining at least one Short Message Service Protocol Data Unit (SMS PDU) attribute associated with the SMS. Further, the method 20 recites generating hash-based correlator header value for SMS based on the determined at least one attribute.
