Abstract: A FLYMODECK Formwork System for Cheese / Waffle slab construction is provided. The system comprises a structurally integrated modular deck assembly including primary plate girder beams, a secondary beam network, modular waffle mould units, and deck sheathing panels. The deck assembly supports full slab concreting loads without ground-based props by transmitting loads hierarchically through its integrated structure to column-hung bracket supports. The structural synergy of primary, secondary, and mould elements provides high load capacity, controlled deflection behavior, dimensional repeatability, and efficient reuse for repetitive slab casting. Additional support mechanisms may be provided for controlled disengagement after slab strength gain.
