Abstract: Title: Folic Acid-Modified Polymeric Nanoparticle Encapsulating Isocorydine for Targeted Triple Negative Breast Cancer Therapy. A nano-carrier system, wherein folic acid ligand is conjugated on the surface of PLGA-PEG nanoparticles encapsulating Isocorydine facilitates folate receptor-mediated endocytosis through overexpressed folate receptors on breast cancer cells is disclosed. The controlled release profile of the nanoparticles ensures that Isocorydine is gradually released over an extended period, maintaining effective drug concentrations in the bloodstream and minimizing fluctuations that could reduce the overall efficacy of the process.
