Abstract: Food wastage has become a serious global issue that affects environmental sustainability, economic stability, and social welfare. Large quantities of edible food are discarded daily by restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, and event organizers while millions of people suffer from hunger and malnutrition. Traditional food donation practices are mostly manual and unorganized, making it difficult for food donors and NGOs to coordinate effectively. As a result, surplus food is often disposed of rather than redistributed to those in need. The present invention proposes an intelligent food wastage reduction system that connects food donors with NGOs and volunteers through a digital platform. The system uses real-time data processing, location-based matching, and predictive analytics to identify surplus food and coordinate redistribution efficiently. The proposed system collects information about surplus food from restaurants, hotels, and catering services and notifies nearby NGOs and volunteers for timely pickup and delivery. Artificial Intelligence techniques analyse historical data to predict food waste patterns and optimize redistribution logistics. The invention can be implemented in smart city infrastructures, social welfare platforms, and sustainable food management systems to reduce food wastage and support hunger alleviation initiatives
