Abstract: Force-Responsive Autonomous Load-Redistributing Bag With Mechanical Load Management System This invention describes a force-responsive autonomous load- redistributing bag configured to mechanically modify an internal load path according to variations in the magnitude and distribution of carried loads. The bag incorporates an internal load-receiving arrangement operatively associated with force-responsive supporting structures capable of displacement, rotation, translation, flexure, or controlled positional adjustment when subjected to unequal loading. Such adjustment redistributes forces generated by carried articles toward predetermined load-transfer regions associated with the rear, shoulder-supporting, and optionally lower-supporting portions of the bag. The system may employ springs, hinged members, sliding structures, flexible load-transfer members, guide structures, damping arrangements, frictional restraints, mechanical stops, or combinations thereof. The internal compartments may consequently reposition relative to one another so that heavier articles are brought into improved load-transmitting positions. The arrangement operates substantially autonomously and mechanically without requiring continuous electronic sensing, electrical power, or repeated manual rearrangement of carried contents.
