Abstract: ABSTRACT Disclosed herein is a formulation and method for synthesizing green titanium dioxide nanoparticles (100) that comprises an aqueous plant extract in an amount ranging from 20 percent to 40 percent by volume configured to act as a bio-reductive and stabilizing medium, a titanium source in an amount ranging from 10 percent to 25 percent by volume configured to undergo controlled hydrolysis for nanoparticle generation, a pH adjusting agent in an amount ranging from 1 percent to 5 percent by volume and configured to maintain suitable reaction conditions for nanoparticle synthesis, a solvent medium in an amount ranging from 30 percent to 50 percent by volume and configured to provide uniform dispersion and homogeneous mixing during the synthesis process, a washing medium in an amount ranging from 10 percent to 20 percent by volume and configured to remove unreacted precursors and impurities.
