Abstract: ABSTRACT FRUIT-PICKING DEVICE WITH ADJUSTABLE POUCH AND A METHOD FOR OPERATION THEREOF The fruit-picking device (100) comprises a telescopic rod (102) with a cutting assembly (108) and cutting blade (110) at one end, and a handle grip (106) with a control lever (112)at the other. A collecting pouch (116) is attached below the cutting assembly (108) via a pouch ring (118) with a pouch adjuster (120) controlling its opening. A weight stand (108) connects to the telescopic rod (102) through a stand joint (120), providing stability and 360-degree movement. The device includes a control cable (114), height lock (126), base plate (128), and length adjuster (104) . This versatile tool may be used for harvesting various fruits like apples and cherries. Its design potentially improves efficiency, reduces fruit damage, and increases productivity in agricultural operations.
