MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511005393 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges on January 22, 2025, for Fuel Overflow Detection System.

Inventors include Vandna; Dishant Khosla; Pankaj Palta; Dr. Harvinder Singh; Sumeet Goyal; Anureet Kaur Bhatia; Akshit Kumar; and Rishyup.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relates to a system for detecting fuel overflow in a fuel tank for vehicles. More specifically, disclosed herein is a fuel overflow detection system enabling fuel monitoring and alert when the fuel exceeds a predefined limit. More particularly, the over-fueling detection system takes into consideration various inputs from Ultrasonic sensor, Capacitive sensor, Float sensor, Pressure sensor and Fuel sensor for determining a real life scenario using IOT connectivity with AI models on the system providing remote access to user hence minimizes the spill.
