Abstract: ABSTRACT FULLY AUTOMATED MACHINE FOR MANUFACTURING TAPERED FILTER TIPS FOR CONICAL CIGARETTE TUBES FROM PAPER BLANKS 5 The present disclosure relates to a fully automated machine (100) and method (300) for manufacturing tapered filter tips for conical cigarette tubes from paper blanks. The machine comprises a cassette (104) configured to store a plurality of pre-cut paper blanks and a pick-and-feed mechanism (112) configured to transfer the paper blanks to a forming station (F). The forming station (F) includes a rotatable outer 10 spindle (107) and a rotatable inner spindle (109) configured to wind the paper blank into a tapered form. A gripping mechanism (113) maintains alignment and tension during winding, while an adhesive application unit (119) dispenses adhesive to secure the wound structure. A tip-forming unit (114) closes an end of the tapered filter tip, and an ejection mechanism (116) discharges the finished filter tip. A 15 control system (120) coordinates operation of the machine in a continuous and fully automated manner to achieve improved production efficiency, dimensional consistency, and reduced manual intervention.
