Abstract: The present invention relates to a fused distribution board (100) and method (300) for providing channel-wise fault isolation and over-current protection in a multi- channel signal distribution system. The fused distribution board (100) comprises a printed circuit board (PCB) (110), a multi-pin input connector (120), output terminal connectors, resettable positive temperature coefficient (PTC) fuse elements mounted on the PCB (110). Each fuse element is connected in series between a respective pin of the input connector (120) and a corresponding output terminal connector. Upon occurrence of an over-current condition in a signal channel, the corresponding fuse element transitions from a low-resistance state to a high-resistance state to isolate the channel, and automatically returns to the low-resistance state upon removal of the over-current condition. The fused distribution board (100) enables independent channel protection and uninterrupted operation of the remaining channels, thereby improving system reliability in low-current control and communication signal distribution applications.
