Abstract: The present invention relates to an interactive hand rehabilitation system designed to assist individuals recovering from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS). The system integrates a hardware setup with an interactive software platform to provide an engaging and effective therapeutic experience. The hardware comprises a pressure sensor (HX710B) connected to a rubber bulb, which serves as the primary input device for detecting hand movements and pressure exertion. A microcontroller unit (NodeMCU-ESP8266) interfaces with the pressure sensor to transmit real-time data to the software. The software, developed using the PyGame framework, interprets the transmitted data to control an interactive game environment. The system features adjustable difficulty levels to cater to varying rehabilitation needs and provides real-time feedback to enhance user engagement and compliance. By incorporating exercises that improve hand dexterity, strength, and coordination into a gamified format, the invention transforms the rehabilitation process into a motivating and enjoyable activity. Portable and user-friendly, the system is suitable for use in clinical and home settings. This invention represents a novel approach to rehabilitation, leveraging technology to improve recovery outcomes and ensure consistent practice for individuals with CTS.
