Abstract: The present invention relates to a gas leakage detection and automated alert system designed to enhance safety in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. The system comprises a gas sensor configured to continuously monitor ambient gas concentration and a microcontroller for processing sensor data and comparing detected values with a predefined threshold. Upon detection of a gas leakage condition, the system automatically activates an audible alarm and displays warning messages on a visual display unit. Simultaneously, a communication module transmits alert notifications in the form of short message service (SMS) messages to predefined mobile devices, enabling remote awareness. The system further includes an automated ventilation mechanism that is actuated to disperse accumulated gas and reduce hazardous conditions without manual intervention. The invention provides real-time monitoring, rapid response, and reliable hazard mitigation using cost-effective and scalable components, thereby minimizing risks associated with gas leakage incidents.
