MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411103757 A) filed by Schneider Electric India Private Limited on December 27, 2024, for Gearless Circuit Breaker.
Inventors include Sahoo, Gyana Ranjan; Rajhans, Rupesh Subhashrao; Dash, Sudhansu Sekhar; Joshi, Prajakta Jayant; and Kore, Ruturaj Jitendra.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a circuit breaker that includes an eccentric cam that is operable to rotate based on running of a motor. The circuit breaker can further include an operating lever connected to the eccentric cam with a tension spring, said operating lever receiving momentum from said rotation of said eccentric cam so as to move in a linear motion. The circuit breaker can further include a ratchet bearing casing connected to the operating lever, and further connected to a main cam shaft such that the linear motion of the operating lever results in rotation of the main cam shaft. The circuit breaker can finally include closing spring assembled on the main cam shaft, said closing spring being stretched based on the rotation of the main cam shaft, said stretching resulting in charging of the closing spring.
