MUMBAI, India, Oct. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641117859 A) filed by National Institute Of Technology -Warangal on October 01, 2026, for Gene-Mirna Interaction Processing System For Alzheimer’s Disease Detection.

Inventors include Pratibha Singh; and Soumya Lipsa Rath.

The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.

Abstract: TITLE: GENE-MIRNA INTERACTION PROCESSING SYSTEM FOR ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE DETECTION A system (100) for Alzheimer’s disease (AD) detection through cuproptosis-associated genes, miRNA interaction data and a cuproptosis-associated signal score (CASS) comprises an input module (102), a data integration unit (104), an analysis engine (106), a feedback module (110), a visualization module (108) and an export module (112). The input module (102) accepts gene names from a user. The data integration unit (104) retrieves and validates gene-miRNA interaction data and integrates validated and predicted miRNA interaction data. The analysis engine (106) processes cuproptosis-associated genes comprising FDX1, PDHB, PDHA1, DLAT and DLD to generate CASS. The feedback module (110) generates AD detected-gene and non-detected-gene status through CASS. The visualization module (108) displays CASS through visual outputs, and the export module (112) exports the visual outputs in supported formats for further analysis and reporting.
