MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202614000059 A) filed by Erbe Elektromedizin Gmbh on January 01, 2026, for Generator For Operating Surgical Instruments.

Inventors include Egler, Thomas; and Thomas Ripplinger.

The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.

Abstract: A generator (11) suitable for the pulsed operation accord-ing to the invention comprises a power factor correction circuit (21) having an integrated circuit (31). The volt-age detector input (VSENSE) of the control circuit (31) is upstream connected to an amplifier (35). It is possible to configure the amplifier (35) so that its amplification factor has the value 1 in a first condition and takes a value larger than 1 in a second condition. Moreover, it is possible to only set the amplification to the value of larger than 1 if the voltage at the converter output is inside a tolerance range that is provided for the usual operation of the power factor correction circuit (21). Outside this tolerance range the amplification of amplifi-er (35) is then exactly 1. In doing so, the usual opera-tion of the integrated control circuit (31) is not dis-turbed, particularly during start-up. (Figure 1)
